The Spectrum Max is at the top of the Spectrum series. More durable than other reels in the lineup and with a larger palming rim for better control, the Spectrum Max is a great choice for large freshwater and saltwater fish. The Enforcer reel is still more durable with a stronger drag.
The SPECTRUM MAX is fully machined with cold forged, tempered 6061-T6 aluminum, housing a proven Sealed Carbon System (SCS) Drag. The MAX features a super rigid frame-to-spool connection, a widened palming rim, a large/vented arbor for high retrieve rate, and the One Revolution Drag Knob with 40 detented drag settings for adjustable and repeatable drag resolution. Finished with the Core Collection’s unique porting pattern and spoke aesthetic, the MAX will be your go-to reel for the full range of heavy duty fishing scenarios.

At your request, we will rig this reel with Dacron backing free of charge. If you are purchasing a line and would like us to install both line and backing, let us know and we will have it fully rigged and ready to go. Add a note to your order on the shopping cart page to provide the following information:
- Would you like the reel set up for left or right hand retrieve?
- What color backing would you prefer? The free options are White, Fluorescent Yellow and Orange.
- If you are purchasing a line, would you like us to install it on the reel? If so, we will install the appropriate amount of backing for that line. If we will be installing backing without a line, we will go by the manufacturer’s specifications for the smallest line recommended for that reel. If you would prefer something different, please let us know.
