Beginning Fly Tying Class

This half day class is intended for new fly tyers and will give you the knowledge and skills you need to get started right. We will be tying the Schminnow, the Fleeing Crab and the Clouser Minnow. More importantly you will be learning the various techniques needed to tie these patterns.

Date/Time: 9 am to 1 pm. Check available dates below. If no classes are available below, either we have not scheduled the next class or the upcoming classes are sold out. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or check back regularly for information on the next class.

Reserving a spot: Class size is limited to 5 tyers and payment is required to reserve a spot. If this item is sold out, the class is full. If you would like to be put on a wait list, let us know by giving us a call or filling out our contact form. If you are paying for a spot for someone who is under 13, please contact us to discuss details before signing them up. The tuition fee is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the start of the class. If you aren’t able to attend, we ask that you let us know as soon as you are able so we can offer your spot to others. If you are purchasing multiple spots or are purchasing a spot for someone else, please write the names of those who will be attending, in the "Notes" section, during checkout. Please note that if fewer than three people have signed up within a week of the class, we may postpone or cancel the class. Those who have already paid will have the option to participate in the next class or receive a full refund. 

What is Included? The tuition fee covers materials used during the class as well as the use of a fly tying vise and other tools you will need. You will leave the class with any flies you tie as well as a materials kit with all the materials needed to tie one of the patterns tied during the class.
