Important Disclaimers!

Orders received by 10:00 AM EST are typically packaged the same day and delivered to the carrier the next business day. FedEx Express orders (Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day) received by noon are delivered to the FedEx office the same day. Unless otherwise noted, delivery estimates do not include weekends or Holidays. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday and shipping is done on Monday through Friday. Occasionally we are unable to ship on Monday due to staffing issues or when the post office is closed for a holiday.

When choosing a shipping method please consider not only time to delivery but also relative security. Delivery is the sole responsibility of the selected shipping service. We are not able to assume responsibility for packages marked by the carrier as delivered to the shipping address. Less expensive shipping methods have less detailed tracking options, if any, and are typically dropped off without a signature. More expensive methods will provide better tracking, which helps with retrieving lost packages, and often will require a signature at delivery as well. Especially with international shipping, if you want to have the ability to recover a lost package, we recommend that you upgrade from the standard First Class service.

We offer several international shipping options. First Class International and Priority International will save you money if you have time to wait but the only option that offers true tracking is Express International. While we can guarantee that we will deliver your order to the post office we are not able to assume responsibility for items lost in transit. If you are ordering an expensive item or an item you cannot afford to lose please consider choosing Express International shipping so that your order can be tracked all the way to the destination. This will give you a much better chance of recovery if there are any problems along the way.

Shipping Rebates

We offer a shipping rebate for all internet orders of $50 or more. Your rebate increases with order value and is typically enough to provide free ground shipping within the United States for orders under one pound and for many larger packages as well. The rebate only applies to shipping charges and will be used towards the delivery method of your choice.

We ship via USPS and FedEx. You will be able to select your delivery method and see the final cost at checkout before entering any credit card information. If you have special shipping needs please call us prior to placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

While we guarantee that your package will get to your delivery address, we cannot guarantee what will happen to it after that point. Please make sure that the billing and shipping information you provide is accurate and up to date and that the package will be secure once delivered.

  • Ground orders received by 10:00 AM EST on regular business days are delivered to the carrier within 24 hours and often more quickly.
  • FedEx Express orders (Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day) received by 10:00 AM EST on regular business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) will be shipped that day.
  • Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays will be processed on Monday, or on the following business day if Monday is a holiday.

We ship many orders internationally and enjoy increasing the list of countries to which we have shipped. Because of the complicated logistics of shipping internationally and also due to security concerns we sometimes find it necessary to gather more information before shipping international orders. If more information or any changes to your order or shipping service are required we will contact you as soon as we recognize the issue so any delay is as short as possible.

Depending on the specifics of your order, several US Postal Service shipping options may be available. First Class is the least expensive option but may take two weeks or more to arrive and is only available on relatively lightweight orders. Most international orders ship either Priority International or Express International.

Priority Mail shipments usually arrive in the destination country within a week and Express shipments within a few days. Actual time to delivery will depend on local authorities. Priority service does not provide detailed tracking but updates are usually provided until your package is handed off to customs in the destination country. Because Express International service offers detailed tracking, it is our preferred service and the only method we feel confident using for more valuable orders.

We will get your order to you but it is your responsibility to be aware of any policies (including import duties and other taxes and the right to open and inspect) that the destination country may have. All international shipping will, to the best of our abilities, be in full accordance with the law. We will not misrepresent the value of what we are shipping, the intended purpose or the contents. While we make every effort to follow the laws of the countries to which we ship, please be aware of what can and can not be imported into the destination country and do not order items that are not permitted.

If you live overseas but will be visiting the United States we can ship your order to where you will be staying or hold it for you at our shop. Just enter the place you will be staying in as the shipping destination and make sure to let us know the dates of your stay. If needed we will contact your destination and make any necessary arrangements. We are also happy to hold your order for pickup at our shop, If you would prefer that the order be held we will remove any shipping charge before completing the credit card transaction.
