The Boobie Fly, a fly with a funny name but a no-nonsense, down to business attitude. Developed originally in the UK for fishing deep water on very fast sinking lines, this fly is meant to suspend off the bottom, working the water column from the bottom up rather than the top down. It's absolutely deadly when fished in tandem with a small nymph or streamer but it can also be effective for bass and panfish when fished by itself as a topwater fly.
