Designed by Larry Dahlberg, the Skipper Frog is intended to drive bass and other predatory fish crazy when dragged over and through some of the gnarliest cover you can imagine. The hook rides with the point up, to avoid the major snags, and the wire weed guard adds an additional level of protection from unwanted fouling. Spun deer hair gives the fly buoyancy while the rubber legs and hackles impart unbelievable life and motion even while the fly is at rest.
